I am entering a new chapter with my husband. I am excited and not nervous one bit. My husband and I have launched a NEW Small Business together called LoveyBrand a company all about Faith Family and Fitness:
LoveyBrand products are designed for empowering people around the World to never give-up, smile more, purse goals and remember they are never alone.
Our line is focused on Faith, Family and Fitness.
Making Giving Easy and Paying it Forward.
Not nervous because:
- success or failure of LoveyBrand is still a win because the World will be blessed with beautiful products revolving around Faith Family and Fitness
- My husband is able to purse his entrepreneur passion
- We are watching people send messages of hope and encouragement to others
With all this said how could I not be excited.
I started my healthy fit journey in July of 2005 all thanks to my friends, a bet and prizes. This is a really fun story but I will skip it because this post is long enough as it is. From 2005 through 2017 I had THE MOST incredible fitness journey a girl could have ever dreamed. I traveled all over the world, appeared on magazine covers, meet some incredible life long friends and competed on stages all over the United States. I also attended some of the best conventions in the world and so much more… literally my list is so long…. oh my goodness what a fun chapter. My fitness career is not over it is being lived everyday just in a new realm. You never know what the future holds but my present holds plenty of blessings and my heart is full. I had so many ups and downs in life during this chapter but all the ups and downs brought me to today; thankful for all the trials and tears.
I made a good amount of money during my fitness career and I saved most of it because I knew I wanted a really nice home gym some day and then I just did not know what I wanted to spend my money on so I just saved.
Fast forward in life …. My Husband Chris Crowder is an entrepreneur at heart a risk taker completely opposite of me. I am a conservative penny pincher. Financial stability means everything to me. He would see this money sitting and wanted me to do something… I kept telling him I am not sure what to do but when the spirit leads me like it has my whole life I will know until then I am not budging.
See back in the day before I knew what having a relationship with the Lord was all about, before giving my life to the Lord I never knew the feeling I could feel so strongly at times was actually the Spirit leading me. At big decisions in life I would have this feeling inside me that told me to go for things; I mean a feeling came over me and I KNEW it was meant for me to move. I told Chris until I have a calming feeling of excitement inside like I have my whole life I am not budging; the money can sit forever. He would poke fun of me and sometimes think I was crazy. He told me to do so many things and nothing felt right. He said you should create an e-book for fitness; never felt right. Do not get me wrong I want to create a book … I can see it … I know exactly what I want but it is not the right time.
My sister in law was diagnosed with cancer and I wanted to put together a gift bag with all sorts of healthy fit foods and some inspirational bottles. When I looked for inspirational shaker type bottles I was not impressed by the options and the sayings. I wanted to give her something meaningful she could use as encouragement.
After my search for inspirational bottles it got me thinking; why would I carry around meaningless bottles when I could carry around a powerful reminder. I could carry a daily positive reminder with me, silently minister everywhere, carry God’s Word with me and there is so much more but I have written a novel already so I should keep moving.
Faith, Family & Fitness are everything to me. These are my priorities in life and bring me the most joy!
So here we are shipping our first TWO products to Amazon. Chris designed each bottle at home with minimal graphic experience. Chris has taken the time to watch videos learn so many new things about graphics, amazon, marketing and so much more… He normally likes to start things but the small details and finishing things can be a challenge because his brain is on to the next thing. We have more products in mind we would like to add to LoveyBrand but slow and steady is our pace.
We selected white shaker bottles because WHITE is pure, about humility, wholeness, simplicity, minimalism and completion. White fits in with everything around it and brightens up any space.
Loveybrand is up and running; we have been working a few hours each week since the Fall of 2018. I closed up my fitness accounts and invested all my fitness funds into this faith family and fitness company. This company means a lot to me but no matter what happens I feel like it is all a win-win. A win-win because the products revolve around faith family and fitness so even if we have to donate the products what perfect products to send out into this world. LoveyBrand is making gift giving easy and is paying it forward by selecting a few charities each year to support. If people buy them it is a win for many: us, the people carrying them, the people on the receiving end, for the Charities we selected to support and our church as we tithe.
God is so good and we Hope our products bless many. We have already seen so many blessings happen… people buying these gifts on Amazon and sending as gift to friend with a loving message attached. Some of the software allows us to see where people were looking at other bottles with messages of kill, destroy or donuts and ended up purchasing our positive message bottles. Like I mentioned whether we are successful for many years or not we have already achieved success.
