I created this recipe for this reason… We cannot eat sugary, salty crunchy treats all the time or we will never achieve or maintain results. I am all about enjoying my favorites from time to time such as vacationing, date night, family parties etc… the key word being from time to time. For the in between times when a craving for an ice cream or a dessert hits and you just recently had plenty of your unhealthy favorites try fighting off your craving with this healthy dessert.

  • Yields: 1

1 scoop protein

1 tbsp. of unsweetened cocoa

1 tbsp. of almond butter

1 packet or 2 tsp of stevia

¼ cup water

2 tbsp. of finely crush nuts any kind (optional)

1/8 tsp of vanilla extract (optional)

1Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. *It is important to ensure you thoroughly mix the ingredients; getting a chunk of cocoa in the mouth could leave a not so good bitter taste.

2Put in the freezer for about 20 minutes. Voila!
